The Prudential Building at 45 Franklin St

The Prudential Building at 45 Franklin St. became the first permanent campus building in Lawrence in 1991.

1991: What is now referred to as the Dimitry Building at 45 Franklin St. on the Lawrence Campus, was donated by the Prudential Insurance Company of America. The Dimitry Building became the first permanent campus building in Lawrence.

1994: The Paralegal Studies Program became the first at a Massachusetts Community College to be approved by the American Bar Association.

1995: The first online course was offered at the college.

1996: John R. Dimitry retires and David Hartleb becomes the college’s third president.
